Bedtime Dramas

I have always prided myself on the fact that Sprog actually goes to bed without any real fuss...until now!

Ever since she has seen these amazing beds on Nick Jr, www.nickjr.co.uk/bedtime, she has has been adamant that she wants the Carris bed...(meaning Carriage bed!!!), and since she loves Dora The Explorer, she sees this advert all of the time! Now she tells me that she doesn't like her bed, her room, the colours blah, blah... I sense a full make-over coming on !!!

Worlds Apart sells this amazing bed!

Relaxing Day in The Cotswolds

Sprog and I decided that we were going to take our friends out to visit our newly-discovered Daylesford Organics Cotswold Store http://www.daylesfordorganic.com/ (3rd time this week!!!) and have elevenses there.

Fantastic breakfasts, delicious smoothies and a beautiful sunny day made it perfect! Oh, and another little shopping expedition in the farm shop to buy lots of goodies, including their fabulous White Chocolate, Apricot and Coconut fudge...yummy. (Some great ideas for new flavours for The Biscotti Kitchen!!!)

After clearing out the purse again, Sprog and I decided to continue with the Yummy Mummy day and visited Lapstone http://www.lapstone.net/ ...aahh, bliss, but definetely not for the kids! With a spa and salon, it was all very tranquil, and the shop was amazing...my favourite item? A Sia elephant- the inner child comes out!

The rest of the afternoon was spent lazing by the riverside, feeding the ducks and enjoying ice cream! What a great day.

Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival

The Biscotti Kitchen had a great 3-day event at Cheltenham, meeting lots of great local businesses, and lovely customers! Being opposite Jarvis of St James Champagne Bar www.premierchampagnes.com was great fun, adding lots of atmosphere to the marquee, not to mention enjoying the odd flute! Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream www.churchfields-farm.co.uk next door kept us cool with so many yummy samples to try...Grand Marnier...mmm.

The response from Trade customers was brilliant, and we hope to be seeing our Biscotti in some of the hotels and delis soon! A re-order from one our first trade customers at the weekend was very exciting, as well as some online sales at the end of the Festival.

Now exhausted, I remember that not only have I promised to donate 50 packs of Biscotti for the Great Rissington Summer Fete this Saturday, but that I have also pledged my help!!!
Help!

Looking forward to the Cotswold Homes www.cotswold-homes.com web launch party at Wyck Hill House www.bespokehotels.com - will no doubt be a great local event, and I have 500 Biscotti to supply!

Anyway, The Biscotti Kitchen is closing for the night...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
